Videotape

I'm fascinated by the concept of videotape. There is something so mechanical, and sinister, about it. Videotape isn't a friendly medium. It is robotic, limiting, and fleeting. I've never been interested in the process of film. It seems archaic to deal with it. I can see the romance of film. But it is the nightmare of videotape that interests me.
